Berberis thunbergii 'Pow-wow'

This little dynamo's foliage shifts from a yellow-green that's flushed red in spring, to a green with creamy-white marbling during summer, before transforming into fiery red and orange hues in autumn. It's like fireworks in the garden. To add to the interest, small bright yellow flowers bloom in spring, followed by cute red berries.

⚠️ Thorny Note: Please note that Berberis are thorny plants. This makes them excellent hedges when deterring kangaroos, wallabies and deer (or indeed people). Something to be mindful of when selecting their placement, though.
