Berberis thunbergii 'Silver Beauty'

This lovely form of Berberis makes a great splash of colour in the garden with it's white flecked foliage that gives an attractive marbled effect to the green leaves showing a multitude of cream and green shades. New tips are orange red with very attractive autumn colours as the shrub goes into winter dormancy. Autumn foliage has shades of burgundy red orange and honey tones and in spring cluster yellow blooms are followed by small dainty red berries in autumn. Best suited to well drained soil in full sun to part sunny areas.

⚠️ Thorny Note: Please note that Berberis are thorny plants. This makes them excellent hedges when deterring kangaroos, wallabies and deer (or indeed people). Something to be mindful of when selecting their placement, though.
