Syringa vulgaris 'Mrs. Edward Harding' – Lilac
Lilac 'Mrs. Edward Harding' is a medium sized deciduous tree or shrub. Large flower spikes are produced in late spring, with fragrant double reddish-purple flowers. This shrub makes an attractive addition to any garden.
Green heart shaped leaves.
Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertiliser in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.
Plant in full sun.

Tree Care
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
