Mademoiselle Meilland

(MEInostair) Mademoiselle Meilland is a show stopping, highly awarded rose from French breeders Meilland. This highly perfumed hybrid tea is an old style and romantic rose with an intoxicating Damask and fruity fragrance.

Small buds open into huge blooms (average 13 cm in diameter) that are very full and sometimes quartered. The luminous blooms are rose-pink with shades of orange and apricot, and are excellent for cutting. They are borne mostly solitary and cover the bush in flushes throughout the season.

Mademoiselle Meilland is hardy and very disease resistant, with medium green foliage. It looks fantastic as a feature plant, either in the ground or in a pot, and is also a great rose to plant in a group.
