Marie van Houtte

Marie van Houtte is a tea rose, released in 1871, and was bred by Claude Ducher of France (1820-1874).

This shrub bears mostly solitary, deep cream blooms, with a buff yellow base and pinkish-lilac edge to the petals. Flowers are quite fragrant, and are large, double, high-centred, and globular in form. Blooms in flushes, almost throughout the whole year. Dark green glossy foliage.
