Vintage

(WEKbluhimeye) Vintage is a striking hybrid tea rose that is prized for uniquely coloured and beautifully formed blooms. It makes a fantastic cut flower and a lovely addition to the garden.

The blooms are expertly crafted with a classic double, high-centred form, and a light and delicate fragrance. They are also borne mostly solitary, making them perfect for cut flower arrangements.

The colour is where things get truly interesting, beginning with buds that are tinted pink, and open to reveal a beautiful buff to milky coffee colour with soft lemon-yellow highlights. The reverse side of the petals start off a dusty pink and transform to yellow as the bloom matures. This interplay of colours creates a remarkable visual, both in the garden and also in the vase.

Glossy mid-green foliage provides a great backdrop for the striking blooms to shine.

Vintage was bred by Tom Carruth, a renowned rose breeder who also created some of our favourite roses including Twilight Zone, Scentimental, and Life of the Party.
