Calibrachoa × hybrida Calipetite Blue Splash

Calipetite Blue Splash carries small deep blue-violet flowers splashed and streaked with white, over a tight mounded plant of 15 to 30 cm. The Calipetite line was bred to stay compact, which in the garden means it holds its shape into late summer instead of stretching and going hollow in the centre.

Grow it in full sun with free drainage and steady moisture, and feed regularly through the flowering season; calibrachoas run out of colour quickly when hungry. Flowering starts early and continues until the first frosts with no deadheading. The compact habit suits small pots, window boxes, and the front edge of a bed better than the trailing types do.
