Castellari Bypass Lopper - 60 cm

The Bypass lopper uses a narrow cutting head that slips between crowded stems, so you can reach the branch you actually want to remove rather than the one in front of it. The bypass action cuts cleanly through green wood, leaving a tidy surface that heals quickly. Suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

Blades are hot-forged from high-carbon steel, and the oval extruded aluminium handles are anodised and built to take extreme tension, with non-slip grips and a shock absorber to take the jolt out of each cut. At 600 mm long it cuts branches up to 35 mm, a useful size for rose pruning, hydrangeas and shrub work where control matters more than reach.
