Castellari Bypass Lopper - 80 cm

The Bypass lopper uses a narrow cutting head that slips between crowded stems, so you can reach the branch you actually want to remove rather than the one in front of it. The bypass action cuts cleanly through green wood, leaving a tidy surface that heals quickly. Suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

Blades are hot-forged from high-carbon steel, and the oval extruded aluminium handles are anodised and built to take extreme tension, with non-slip grips and a shock absorber to take the jolt out of each cut. At 800 mm long it cuts branches up to 35 mm, with the extra handle length giving more leverage and enough reach to work into the middle of a large shrub or climbing rose.
