Castellari Tucano Lopper - 60 cm

The Tucano lopper is built around a curved cutting head that holds the branch in place as the blade closes, so cuts stay where you put them instead of the wood rolling out of the jaws. An "S" lever tie-rod multiplies the force you put through the handles, and a cavity behind the blade reduces friction as it passes through the branch. Suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

The blade and tie-rod are hot-forged from high-carbon steel, and the anvil is hot-forged aluminium carrying a lifetime guarantee against breakage. Extruded aluminium handles keep the weight down for a tool of this reach, with an anodised finish for long-lasting resistance. At 600 mm long it cuts branches up to 40 mm, which suits rose canes, fruit tree prunings and general shrub work within arm's reach.
