Cherry 'Sunburst' produces large round to heart shaped fruit with red skin and flesh and a lovely flavour. ‘Sunburst’ is a popular cherry for the home garden as it does not need a pollinator. Great for fresh fruit, jams and preserves. Suitable for cooler climate areas.

Fruit matures in mid-December (mid-season).

Self pollinating.

Tree Care

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
