Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Gold'

The golden bell-shaped flowers of 'Lynwood Gold' are slightly smaller and a shade lighter than those of the variety 'Beatrix Farrand'.

Blooms appear on bare woody stems in late winter, welcoming spring with an eye catching blaze of colour. The bright display is sure to bring much joy and happiness to your garden.

This deciduous shrub is a natural sport of Forsythia x intermedia 'Spectabilis', discovered in 1935 at a garden called Lynwood in Cookstown, Northern Ireland.
