Herbaceous Peony 'Coral Supreme'

A highly sought after coral peony with large cup shaped semi double blooms that start 
a salmon coral colour and age to charming peach-coral that lightens with age. The centres are filled with light yellow stamens and blooms are supported on strong upright stems to 1 metre tall. Blooming early in the season this variety makes an ideal cut flower with mostly one bloom per stem but can sometimes have a few side buds. Plants are very vigorous and easy to establish.  
First bloomed in 1964 by breeder Samuel E. Wissing, of Lombard, Illinois, USA after 
27 years of hybridizing peonies, this variety was registered in 1981 by Roy Klehm of 
Sparrow Song Nursery.
