Belle Toulousaine is undoubtedly the best Itoh peony we've offered to date. Its very large, double, violet-pink blooms open to about 20cm wide and are supported by strong, thick stems that do not require staking. Each stem reaches up to 90 cm high and has 4 to 6 side buds, all of which bloom around the same time.

Blooms in the early midseason and is superb for use in cut flower arrangements.

This variety was named after the city of Toulouse in France, renowned as the city of violets.
