Laburnum x watereri ‘Vossii’   –   Golden Chain Tree   –   Voss’s Laburnum

A small spreading tree with upright branching. 'Vossii' is grown for its beautiful display of golden yellow flowers that hang in racemes from late spring to early summer. Can be trained to grow over an arch or pergola, giving a spectacular appearance when in bloom.

Bright green foliage fades to soft green in Autumn.

Cold and frost hardy.

Does well in full/part sun, and part shade.

Habit is vase shaped.

Tree Care

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
