Syringa x hyacinthiflora ‘Blue Hyacinth’ – Lilac
Lilac 'Blue Hyacinth' is a small to medium deciduous tree or shrub. Blooms in spring, with clusters of purple-pink buds opening to attractive soft mauve-blue, single flowers with a strong fragrance.
Green heart shaped leaves.
Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertiliser in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.
Plant in full sun.
This lilac has an upright, rounded habit.

Tree Care
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
