Mariangela

(BARmel) Mariangela is a hybrid tea rose, bred by Rose Barni, and named after Italian actor Mariangela Melato (1941-2013).

This rose boasts beautiful, large, old-world flowers that open to display creamy white petals. In the right conditions, blooms can be gently shaded with light pink. The upright growth of this cultivar is accompanied by a strong old rose fragrance, making it perfect as a cut flower.

Mariangela blooms in flushes throughout the season and is a beautiful addition to any garden. Its bushy habit complements glossy, bright green foliage with high disease resistance.

Mariangela won Silver Medal at the National Rose Trial Garden of Australia in 2021, and has also won awards in Europe.
