Paolo

(BARpej) Paolo is a charming floribunda rose that will brighten up your garden with its warm yellow and apricot shades. Rose Barni bred this rose and named it after Paolo Pejrone. Pejrone is an Italian landscape architect who has designed many beautiful gardens in Italy and abroad.

Paolo has a compact growth habit, reaching up to 90 cm high, and is a very disease resistant rose. It repeat flowers throughout the season, producing abundant cupped shaped flowers that have a delicate fragrance. This rose is a lovely addition to any garden, and a tribute to Pejrone’s artistic vision.

Italians know this cultivar as Paolo Pejrone Giardiniere, but in Australia we love to shorten things, and simply call it Paolo.
