Cream petals with coral-pink edges give Valentine a soft, romantic look that suits its name perfectly. This is a grandiflora rose with good-sized blooms that hold their colour well through the life of each flower, and the bush produces multiple flushes across the growing season.
Growth is upright to about 1.3 m. The fragrance is delicate rather than strong, which makes Valentine more about visual impact than scent. That said, the flower form and colour combination make it an excellent cut rose. In a vase, the cream-and-coral tones are refined enough to stand on their own or mix easily with other flowers.
New to Australia for 2026. If Aurora is the bold, high-contrast option in this year's white-and-pink grandifloras, Valentine is the softer, more understated one. Both make superb cut flowers.
